Our academy provides educational/play-based curriculum for all students. This is built into our daily schedules along with play time. Each child chooses where they want to play. We encourage independent ideas and self expression when playing to let each child grow!
Our academy offers two scheduled snacks, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. We follow the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) for breakfast and lunch.

Dr. Amy Korus was hired as Whitko’s superintendent of schools during the school board’s Monday, December 16, 2024 regular meeting. She replaces Dr. Tom Edington who has been interim superintendent since June. Korus starts her superintendency at Whitko January 1.
