WELCOME BACK STUDENTS!

The 2025-26 school year is sure to be exciting and we want to make sure the registration process is quick and easy. If you are new to Whitko Community Schools we appreciate your interest in Whitko and are looking forward to having your child as a Wildcat!

RETURNING STUDENT REGISTRATION

Online registration is open for the 2025-26 school year! Registration can be completed via your PowerSchool parent portal.

If you do not currently have a PowerSchool parent portal account, information on how to set up your account can be found toward the bottom of this page.

New this year, as part of the registration, proof of residency is required for all students.

NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT

Online enrollment for students new to Whitko opens June 1 for the 2025-26 school year.
New students interested in enrolling and living outside of the school district, please complete the Out of District Student Transfer Application.
 
New student enrollment is ongoing and can be completed by contacting the school your child will be attending. We look forward to meeting you.

KINDERGARTEN ENROLLMENT

Kindergarten enrollment for the 2025-26 school year can be completed by contacting Pierceton or South Whitley Elementary School.

If you have already enrolled during Kindergarten Round-up, there is no need to reenroll.

Please have the following items available to assist with kindergarten enrollment: birth certificate, immunization record, and proof of residency.

BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT

Whitko Community Schools offers Back to School Night for all students prior to the first day of school. The 2025-26 Back to School Open House Night will be held August 11, 2025, at all Whitko schools.

Classes resume for students August 14, 2025.

PowerSchool is the system used by Whitko Community Schools to manage student information including registration, attendance, and grades, sign in here: whitko.powerschool.com/public/

If you are interested in volunteering at Whitko Community Schools, please fill out the volunteer Background Check Form available on the Volunteer page, then simply return it to the school where you would like to help out. Once you have your background check approved, you are able to volunteer school-wide for the entire school year.
