Rhonda Snavley, Director of Operations for Whitko Community Schools, led school board members on a tour of the renovation project underway at Whitko Jr/Sr High School prior to a September 11 work session. 

The renovation will provide a dedicated wing for 6th through 8th-grade students offering additional classrooms, more collaborative space for students, and an outdoor courtyard. Scott Falk, architect of Wightman and Associates, and Mike Walker, representing Schenkel Construction Inc., gave updates and answered questions during the tour.

Students are scheduled to begin using the expanded area in August 2025.
